metaHealth is proud to be one of only four grantees of the St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) – Health Equity Research (HERE) Foundation’s inaugural Health Equity Research Grant.
Following a recent site visit and monitoring meeting, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of Phase 1 of our study. This milestone marks an important step toward our shared mission of tackling health inequities through rigorous, data-driven research.
Our project focuses on advancing methods for measuring health inequity in the Zamboanga Region—with the goal of creating models and tools that can be applied to improve equity in health financing across the Philippines.
By capturing local realities and translating them into actionable evidence, we aim to guide policies and interventions that bring us closer to a health system where no one is left behind.
Phase 2 is now underway, and we look forward to working closely with stakeholders, communities, and partners to turn research into real-world impact.
