Highlight: Jason is a physician-economist with a deep expertise in HTA and HEOR. He has led the appraisal of high-impact technologies prioritized by national HTA bodies, advised on strategic purchasing and digital health financing reforms with health insurance agencies and international development banks, and conducted economic evaluations across more than a dozen countries. With a unique blend of clinical grounding, public health expertise, and implementation science, he drives the translation of evidence into policy and practice—advancing value-based, locally relevant solutions for health systems in transition.

Highlight: Robert is an internationally-educated biostatistician, mathematical epidemiologist and economic evaluation specialist who has published at least 10 scholarly works in Scopus-indexed international journals. He has vast experience in providing consultancies for large projects primarily focused on processing and analyzing large longitudinal health-centric datasets and electronic medical records and developing statistical, mathematical and economic models applied to policy and intervention analyses.

John Paul Caesar R. delos Trinos, MPH, MHM, PhD
Chief Scientific Officer

John Paul Caesar R. delos Trinos, MPH, MHM, PhD, is a health economist and public health researcher advancing health technology assessment (HTA), costing, economic evaluations, and other HEOR methods in the Philippines. As Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of metaHealth Insights & Innovations, he supervises teams producing evidence for HTA submissions on various therapeutic areas, such as oncology, hematology, and infectious diseases, among others. His work includes cost-effectiveness and budget-impact studies on key health issues like heart failure, obesity, injuries, and HIV.
He earned his PhD at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, modelling preventive chemotherapy for helminths in Asia. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles, including in The Lancet Regional Health. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at Warwick Medical School and Chief Researcher at NIH’s Newborn Screening Reference Center. He also teaches health economics and HTA at De La Salle MHSI and coordinates the UW Economic Evaluation in Global Health course. Dr delos Trinos serves on the board of ISPOR Philippines and leads the Technical and Policy Committee of the Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians
Jonathan D. Monis, RN, MSc, MProjMgt
Chief Operations Officer

Nathan is the Chief Operations Officer of metaHealth Insights and Innovations, where he leads operational strategy and client engagement for national and global health programs. With experience collaborating with partners such as UNICEF, WHO, and major pharmaceutical companies, he supports health research, evidence generation, and program implementation.
He previously served as Health Contractor at the Australian Embassy in Manila, managing Australia’s vaccine program to the Philippines, and spent a decade at the Philippine Department of Health, where he led monitoring and evaluation of development assistance in health.
Nathan holds a BS in Nursing from FEU, an MS in Public Health from UERMMMC, and a Master of Project Management from the University of Sydney. A recipient of the DOST and Australia Awards scholarships, he has also been a Fellow as a WHO-Western Pacific Region’s Global Health Fellowship Program and a Women Deliver Young Leaders Program.
